New Political Ad Destroys Ted Cruz’s ‘Tough As Texas’ Campaign Slogan By Reminding Voters How Trump Humiliated And Completely Owned Him

Politically endangered Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is in an unexpected dogfight with Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke as he continues to lose ground in the polls.

However, now the senator is being openly mocked for declaring himself “Tough as Texas,” after he sat by and allowed Donald Trump to dishonor his family and make him his political bitch to boot.

Film director Richard Linklater and actor Sonny Carl Davis got together and made a brilliant anti-Cruz ad with the Fire Ted Cruz Pac. The ad aimed Cruz’s “Tough as Texas” campaign slogan by reminding Texas voters how quickly Cruz went from “Never Trump” to looking miserable in a call center making calls for the man who called his wife “ugly” and accused his dad of killing President John F. Kennedy.

“If somebody called my wife a dog, and said my daddy was in on the Kennedy assassination, I wouldn’t be kissin’ their ass,” Davis says. “You stick a finger in their chest and give ’em a few choice words. Or you drag their ass out by the woodshed and kick their ass, Ted. Come on, Ted.”
