It has been a bad week for White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. Early this week, the retired Marine general told the press that young immigrants who were eligible for DACA and failed to sign up were just “too lazy to get off their asses.” That was bad enough, but then? He somehow thought it was a good idea to defend ex-White House staffer Rob Porter, who was recently accused of abusing his ex-wives.
The New York Times is reporting that Pres. Donald Trump is so agitated by Kelly getting all of this negative attention that he’s been calling up his buds to bitch about it. One of the buds who he’s talking to? Former Chief of Staff and disgraced butt-boy Reince Priebus, the dude Kelly replaced.
Among the many people agitated this week over John F. Kelly, the White House chief of staff, was President Trump. And among the people the president called to express dissatisfaction, according to those close to him, was none other than Reince Priebus, the previous chief of staff, who also irritated Mr. Trump.
Listen up. Someone best NOT call me talking about the dude the replaced me with when I wasn’t good enough.
We have good reason to be nervous right now. Time called John Kelly “Donald Trump’s Last Hope.” Where do we go from here?
