Twitter Freaks Out After Trump Threatens North Korea With ‘Fire And Fury’ (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump promised Tuesday that North Korea will receive “fire and fury” if it threatens the U.S. And when he did this, Twitter users freaked out.

Trump Threatens North Korea

He issued the stunning threat after intelligence analysts discovered that North Korea has produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead, CNN reports.

Trump issued the statement during a photo op at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, using warhawk rhetoric:

North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen… he has been very threatening beyond a normal state. They will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”

This has some people scared, while others find humor in Trump’s scorched-earth words, according to Raw Story.

And Mediaite also notes Twitter users had some interesting reactions:

For good measure, Mediaite included a few blasts from Trump’s past:

Then Mediaite summed it up with this final tweet:

Yes, Trump did, but too many right-wing idiots weren’t listening.

And Trump’s threats can be likened to throwing vinegar on a hornet’s nest — they have apparently angered officials in North Korea, who now say they are “carefully examining” a preemptive attack on Guam, Politico reports.

So Twitter users, as well as the rest of us, have good reason to worry.
