Sean Hannity is a weasel, a hack, a supercilious idiot, and the world’s biggest cheerleader for President Trump. He virtually salivates when he talks about Trump; his eyes get misty and a lovestruck grin crosses his face. Frankly, it’s enough to make a person sick at their stomach.
As you might expect, Hannity hates CNN, both because they get better ratings than him and because Donald Trump has an ongoing feud with the news network. So after Jake Tapper dismantled new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci on-air Sunday, Sean thought he’d try to get a measure of revenge on Tapper by urging his dozens of Fox viewers to go on social media and troll the hell out of Tapper, adding:
“I think you will have a positive input.”
But what Hannity could never have predicted was how badly the plan backfired in his face, with hundreds of Twitter users making it painfully clear to the Fox host that they adore Tapper:
I think he's a journalist.
I think Sean is a hack.

I have tweet notifications turned on for @jaketapper because I actually care about accurate news

Thankful for @jaketapper not only for being a journalist with integrity but also for tweeting the cutest dog pictures

It would be nice to think that Sean would learn from this disaster, but it seems highly unlikely. After all, there’s only so much you can teach someone who’s been blinded by love.
