Parents Of Seth Rich Describe How Slimy Conservatives Are Using Murdered Son For Political Gain

Seth Rich, a Democratic National Committee staffer who was shot and killed somewhere near his home in 2016 is now being disrespected by cruel media figures. They claim that his death was the result of handing DNC emails to Wikileaks.

Conspiracy Fact

According to his parents, Mary and Joel, these reports are causing them “unbearable” pain, since the media wants to keep spreading “baseless” theories. They said:

“Those theories, which some reporters have since retracted, are baseless, and they are unspeakably cruel.”

Seth’s parents wrote that instead of a peaceful time to mourn for their son’s death, they are flocked by reporters and are forced to answer questions about whether the conspiracy theory was indeed true or not.

To which Mary and Joel already wrote in the Washington Post that:

“We have seen no evidence, by any person at any time, that Seth’s murder had any connection to his job at the Democratic National Committee or his life in politics. Anyone who claims to have such evidence is either concealing it from us or lying,”

In fact, Snopes proved that there was no connection between Seth Rich and Wikileaks. He did not do what the GOP and conspiracy theorists claim he did.

They also added that some conservative news outlets have continued the baseless reporting about the connection of Seth’s death to his life in politics.

In response to those reports, Mary and Joel are now asking for peace from the people who are only using their son’s death for “their own political goals.” They said:

“There are people who are using our beloved Seth’s memory and legacy for their own political goals, and they are using your outrage to perpetuate our nightmare.”

Marty and Joel went on, to solemnly ask of the media, conservatives, and conspiracy theorists alike:

“We ask those purveying falsehoods to give us peace, and to give law enforcement the time and space to do the investigation they need to solve our son’s murder.”

Unethical Standards

On Tuesday, Fox News retracted one of their Seth Rich murder stories posted last week. They claimed the report did not reach the outlet’s “ethical standard.” The retraction reads:

On May 16, a story was posted on the Fox News website on the investigation into the 2016 murder of DNC Staffer Seth Rich. The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.”

What ethical standard? Can I ask if Faux News even knows what that means? If this story isn’t up to their “standards” and they want to remain true to their word, then they’ll need to retract pretty much everything they’ve written in the last decade.

Anyway, later that same day Fox host Sean Hannity, who has discussed the murder on his show, said that he “retracted nothing.”

Here we go on the Fox roller coaster all over again.

Of course he doesn’t. Hannity added that the critics who are accusing him of promoting a conspiracy theory are hypocritical because of the reports about the Trump Campaign-Russia connection. Which by the way he insisted was not true.
