Creationist idiot extraordinaire Ken Ham is promoting a new book that pits Noah against a Tyrannosaurus rex. From the book:
“After years of serving God, Noah reaches crisis of faith due to his mounting frustrations with the proliferation of sin and the apparent silence from the Creator,” the description reads in part. “Thrust into a series of perilous situations, Noah’s deepest convictions are challenged. His response will direct his course and change the world forever.”
Apparently, Ken Ham also believes dinosaurs fought against humans and giant during the period covered in the book of Genesis.
Ham once tweeted about his new exhibit, which depicts these stories:
“Exquisite design by @ArkEncounter artists for new Diorama depicting wicked population in the pre-Flood world to be installed @ArkEncounter.”
Ken Ham, like all Creationists, believes that the Earth is only 6,000 years old. Scientists confirmed that dinosaurs died out over 65 million years ago, and humans only evolved 200,000 years ago. Obviously, someone’s math is wrong.
Ken Ham is the creator of the Ark Encounter park in Kentucky. He took over $18 million in tax incentives for this bullshit “museum.” Even though they did that, they still require their employees to sign a chastity pledge, and they discriminate against LGBT employees.
Even a Baptist minister was concerned about this! Baptist minister Bob Fox tells Fox13Now that he’s concerned about the erosion of church-state separation with these kinds of projects. He said:
“There’s kinds of laws called ‘Sharia,’ where people have used legislation and the government to promote a religious faith, and I think we as Christians need to be careful that we continue to be Christian, and to be Christian in the context of the United States.”
It’s no surprise Ham would be promoting a book like this given how much he denies science in favor of his Creationism.
