Apart from having a good laugh off of President Trump’s tweets (after getting over the outrage of course), I guess the one good thing that comes from them is being able to read how other people react to them.
In fact, you’d be amazed at how entertaining and satisfying it can be by reading how Trump’s tweets get bludgeoned right along with him.
Take this, for example, this past Tuesday, Trump posted a tweet about having a “government shutdown” because of what he called a “mess” of an independent congress.
Poor Donnie boy isn’t getting what he wants and the shame of it all is too much to bear…
I know, right? But, don’t look at me… Check the article here to read more about that absurdity.
The Trump tweets that fueled this particular “burn Trump” session:
The reason for the plan negotiated between the Republicans and Democrats is that we need 60 votes in the Senate which are not there! We….
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 2, 2017
either elect more Republican Senators in 2018 or change the rules now to 51%. Our country needs a good “shutdown” in September to fix mess!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 2, 2017
And this from Rep. Eric Swalwell’s, a California Democrat from the 15th district, is a most perfect response:
Nope. Our country needs a White House shutdown. Working on it. https://t.co/sYowfniRyX
— Rep. Eric Swalwell (@RepSwalwell) May 2, 2017
Don’t tell that didn’t make you smile. We could use a good “White House shutdown” to “fix the mess” Trump made, don’t you think?
Check out some of these other amazing responses to Trump’s asinine tweet:
@realDonaldTrump Wait you were just complaining about Dems doing that last week… now it's all of a sudden a worthy decision cause you can't get your way??

@realDonaldTrump Fixed that tweet for you, you grifting narcissist apricot. No need to thank me. #FTFY pic.twitter.com/V2Xg7CS0IW

@MariaMejides @karlfrankjr @markbland @Stonekettle @realDonaldTrump @HillaryClinton I still cannot understand where they even began to think this man was competent? Were they paid off?

@realDonaldTrump If you shut down the government, who will pay for your golf games?
— Jesse Herzog (@jesseherzog) May 2, 2017
@B_BNKS @ScottPresler @realDonaldTrump He's got majorities in both houses and can't get anything done. Doesn't that speak volumes about which party is incapable of work?

@realDonaldTrump Removal of President from office requires a two-thirds supermajority of the Senate. Be careful what you wish for. #241Years #Resistance

@realDonaldTrump Our country needs a real president not a draft dodging oligarch who is so out of touch he only can only grab pussy.
