One New York Newspaper Took Sean Spicer To School For His Offensive Hitler Comments

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is not the least bit good at his job. If he isn’t arguing with reporters or mispronouncing the names of world figures (how hard is it to say Assad? Spicer kept pronouncing it, “A-shad.”), he also has no knowledge whatsoever of world history.

Tuesday, Spicer’s massive ignorance came to a head when he proclaimed that the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, was worse than Hitler, and then added:

“We didn’t use chemical weapons in World War II. You know, you had a, you know, someone as despicable as Hitler who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons.”

On Wednesday, the New York Daily News gave Spicer and the entire White House a history lesson with this cover:

Spicer later apologized, but how does someone who speaks for the so-called president manage to fuck up this bad with the painful facts of the Holocaust? He even referred to the death chambers as “Holocaust centers.”

This entire administration finds news ways to offend us. Time for them to go.
