Federal Judge William H. Orrick in San Francisco, California has blocked President Donald Trump’s “sanctuary city” executive order aimed at barring federal funds cities that protect undocumented immigrants.
Trump was left beside himself in anger after San Francisco, and Santa Clara County was granted preliminary injunctions to block Trump’s order.
According to multiple reports, the order, written in January, would have withheld federal funds from cities who refuse to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) foot soldiers as they hunt down and arrest dangerous soccer moms.
Justice can still withhold grants from places not complying w/ law on communication w/ ICE & HL Security can still define sanctuary cities..

The injunction clearly states that it “does nothing more than implement the effect of the Government’s flawed interpretation of the Order. It does not affect the ability of the Attorney General or the Secretary to enforce existing conditions of federal grants … nor does it impact the Secretary’s ability to develop regulations or other guidance defining what a sanctuary jurisdiction is or designating a jurisdiction as such.”
