If perhaps you were pondering whether or not Donald Trump can manage to do anything at all correctly, we now appear to have the answer to that question.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Donnie thought he’d tweet out a greeting in the Irish Gaelic:
Happy Lá Fheile Phadraig to all of my great Irish friends!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 17, 2017
A nice gesture, yes, but one problem: He spelled it wrong. Dammit!
There is no “h” in “Padraig,” and plenty of folks on Twitter caught the mistake and punished the pretend president accordingly:
@realDonaldTrump it's "Lá fhéile Pádraig" ya stupid orange git! #illegitimatepresident #dumbass #unfit #unqualified #spellcheck #resist

@realDonaldTrump You misspelled Padraig. Typical.

@realDonaldTrump You spelt it wrong…'Lá Fhéile Pádraig'
?— Lorcan O'Connor (@LorcanOConnor2) March 17, 2017
@realDonaldTrump Slight correction: It's "Lá Fhéile Pádraig." You don't need a séimhiú on "Pádraig," and you forgot the fada.

The Trump team has royally fucked up several times on this St. Paddy’s: The clown prince of Washington also recited what he called an Irish proverb on Thursday. Problem is, it’s about as Irish as a Russian wolfhound.
And then there’s the matter of the green “Make America Great Again” hats with four-leaf clovers on them instead of the traditional shamrock.
Then again, what would you expect from a ignorant twatwaffle like the one currently residing at the White House? The dumb son of a bitch can’t even keep his lies straight.
