Welp, our First Lady Melania Trump is starting to get involved and do things at the White House.
She visited the Children’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. She said:
“I am a passionate believer in integrating and interpreting nature’s elements into our daily lives to create a warm, nurturing and positive environment. I believe that these same natural benefits can be instrumental to enhancing the health and well-being of all children.”
Her husband is tearing apart our health care system, so let’s just use “nature.” Over 13 million children could lose their insurance.
Are you going to make your own insulin? Are we going to use tree sap instead of chemotherapy? Let’s use some exotic plants instead of medicine for children suffering with mental illnesses.
He is ready to dismantle our entire health care system with no viable alternative. She may have meant well with her comment, but it is horrible timing. Just like her husband, I guess she doesn’t realize how “complicated” health care is.
Trump made some lofty claims about how he was going to reform health care. In his speech on Tuesday, he said that lawmakers should:
“… repeal and replace Obamacare with reforms that expand choice, increase access, lower costs, and at the same time, provide better health care.”
