Alternative Fact Conway Retweets White Nationalist, Then Claims Someone Else Used Her Account

If perhaps you were still wondering whether or not White House adviser Kellyanne Conway and the Trump administration have a cozy relationship with the KKK, neo-Nazis, and other self-proclaimed “white supremacists,” consider this retweet Conway sent out earlier today:

No biggie, you might shrug upon initial inspection, but consider what you see when you look closer at the Twitter account she retweeted:

“#WhiteIdentity, #Nationalist.”

And the owner of the account took umbrage when someone called him out for being a Nazi:

Touchy, touchy, Adolph!

Even though Conway deleted her retweet, when contacted for comment, she did the usual Trump team thing: She lied through her shrunken head and claimed she “did not know who had access to her Twitter account.” And she added:

“I’ve never heard of Lib Hypocrisy obviously. I denounce whoever it is. I’m going to find out who’s tweeting it. It will be immediately deleted. Everybody makes mistakes.”

Whether or not you’ve heard of the account is not the point, Kellyanne. One minute you say you don’t know who had access (hint: YOU!) and then you follow it by saying “everybody makes mistakes.”

Now we get word that Conway has been unfollowed on Twitter by both of Trump’s Twitter accounts. Sounds like she might want to get her resume in order.
