It happened. Our President is Donald Trump. His Inauguration was a total ghost town compared to either of former President Barack Obama’s inaugurations. Although, Trump keeps claiming that his crowd size was YUGE.
Here are the crowds side-by-side:
BREAKING: Trump personally pressured Park Service to find proof for his claims about inauguration crowd. So unpopular & so insecure! WEAK pic.twitter.com/VCS2tNJcpt

He keeps trying to say that his crowd was bigger. He even went so far as to ask the National Park Service to find pictures to prove his lie.
Trump called the director of the National Park Service, Mike Reynolds, personally to ask for this. He also complained about it during his speech at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) office on Inauguration Day:
“I looked out, the field was — it looked like a million, million and a half people. They showed a field where there were practically nobody standing there.”
The Washington DC Metro System even tweeted about how the subway was busier on the day of the Women’s March than it was on Inauguration Day.
Here is what they said on Inauguration Day:
Parking update: As of 7 a.m., parking is available at all Metro stations with lots/garages. No station more than 40% full. #wmata #inaug2017

Here is what they said the day after on the day of the Women’s March:
Metro Ridership as of 11am: 275k. For comparison, that's more than 8x a normal Sat & even busier than most weekdays. #wmata #womensmarch

Is this what we will be dealing with for the next four years? He’s using the federal government to try and feed his big ego.
