Hannity Accuses Mueller Of Using Indictments To Distract Americans From His Reporting On Hillary

On Monday in an attempt to deflect America’s attention away from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s federal investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, Fox News’ Sean Hannity managed to pull off quite the hat trick.

Hannity insisted that Mueller’s recent indictments of high-level Donald Trump campaign officials were nothing more than an attempt to “change the narrative,” and distract American’s away from Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s imaginary “crimes.”

More specifically, Hannity believes that Mueller wants to distract Americans away from his award-winning (in his fucking dreams) reporting on this vast left-wing conspiracy.

Don’t think this is a coincidence,” Hannity said. “Last week right here on this program, we had stunning revelation after revelation, day after day, about Hillary Clinton, Uranium One, the fake news dossier.”

Wow, talk about a rampaging narcissistic inbecile. Hannity’s doing a few things here.

First, he’s trying to gaslight people into believing that Mueller is attempting to distract them from his fake news story about Clinton (which is an attempt to distract from the real story about Mueller’s investigation).

Second, Hannity is trying to promote his brand as to being “hard-hitting, cutting-edge” journalism that’s making powerful people like Robert Mueller weave competing “narratives” to protect Hillary Clinton.

Here’s how Snopes breaks down this latest debunked neocon Clinton conspiracy fantasy:

CLAIM

Then-Secretary of State Clinton ordered then-FBI Director Robert Mueller to deliver highly enriched uranium to the Russians in a secret plane-side meeting in 2009.

RATING

 MIXTURE

WHAT’S TRUE

On behalf of the U.S. government, Robert Mueller delivered a sample of highly enriched uranium confiscated from smugglers in Georgia to Russian authorities for forensic examination in 2009.

WHAT’S FALSE

There was nothing nefarious in the transfer of the ten-gram sample, which was done at the request of Russian law enforcement and with the consent of the government of Georgia, whose agents had participated in its confiscation.

According to Snopes, this conspiracy started on a right-wing blog sometime between May and June 2017, upon the announcement that Mueller was named Special Counsel in the Russian investigation.

Hannity goes on to accuse Mueller of being complicit in Clinton’s “crimes.”

[S]pecial counsel Mueller is clearly complicit in the Uranium One scandal. Remember, he was the FBI director. The FBI informant had all the evidence of bribes and kickbacks and money laundering and he did nothing. So now they need to change the narrative after a very bad week and distract the country from their evidence and their involvement in possible collusion,” Hannity explained.

Unwittingly Trump’s personal ass q-tip finished with perhaps the most truthful statement he’d ever made, although for ass-backward reasons (as to be expected).

“Tonight we have a major crisis in this country. Does America have equal justice under the law? It appears tonight the answer is no,” Hannity said.

No fucking shit you stupid motherfucker, groups like the NAACP and Black Lives Matter have been saying this for years.

Leave it to a neocon to have his head so far up his own ass that it takes a Hillary Clinton delusion for him to realize a fundamental truth about our so-called “justice system.”
