On Wednesday, a lonely little white supremacist in Miami, Florida decided to brave the sunlight after leaving the safety of his momma’s basement so that he could protest the renaming of local streets that were named after some of his favorite Confederate traitors.
The night before, following a marathon meeting, Hollywood city commissioners decided in a 5-1 vote to rename Lee, Hood, and Forrest streets. John Hood and Robert E. Lee were infamous generals in the Confederate army, while Nathan Bedford Forrest was the lovely “gentleman” who founded the Ku Klux Klan.
However, news of the renaming didn’t sit well with a certain Confederate “badass” who decided to take his shit rag on a stick to the streets in protest.
“Today, a local white supremacist, Chris Cedeno, was arrested after witnesses on-scene say he charged into the crowd of civil-rights protesters,” the Miami New Timesreports. “Cedeno was standing near the entrance to Hollywood City Hall, in front of a police line that separated him from 150 to 200 protesters. After Cedeno briefly jawed back and forth with a protester from roughly 10 feet away, he ran directly at the crowd. Cops swooped in and removed Cedeno in handcuffs.”
“Cedeno showed up to the protest in a shirt emblazoned with the logo for the Florida League of the South, a white nationalist group that wants the Confederate states to secede from the union again and create a society led by white, Christian people of European descent,” New Times noted. “Cedeno waved a flag that combined the classic Confederate “stars and bars” with the black-and-white League of the South logo.”
Earlier this year, Cedeno decided to show his support for an influential Miami Republican’s use of the n-word by meeting protesters with a neo-Nazi pin attached to his shirt.
Cedeno is just one of thousands of subterranean social insects to crawl from depths of civilized society to promote their agenda of hatred and bigotry and do so loud and proud knowing that they have the full support of Donald Trump’s administration.
I don’t normally endorse things like police brutality and prison rape, but when I do…
