The National Rifle Association (NRA) is fond of spreading lies about how if everyone in America had a gun, crime would cease to exist, even though they have no data to back up their specious claims.
Now the NRA has decided to try and incite racial violence in the country, with their online TV network broadcasting the idea that black Americans are stoking “racial hatred” against whites via the Black Lives Matter movement.
In a recent episode, host Stinchfield opened the show by announcing:
“Race relations are strained here in America after eight years of Barack Obama (though) nowhere is near as bad as it is in South Africa where white families are being tortured and killed almost every day in racist violence.”
Guest Claude Helton then turned the hatred up to full volume and told Stinchfield:
“Right, you know the parallels between what’s happening in South Africa and the blatant racism and violence we’re seeing from people like the Black Lives Matter crowd. If we continue to let this get out of control, to go down this path of this racial tension, this racial hatred that is being forced on the American culture by the Black Lives Matter crowd.”
So the United States is now analogous to South Africa. Of course, as you would expect, Helton offered zero proof of his assertions, provided no evidence of what might be happening in South Africa, but he reiterated that Black Lives Matter wants to see the blood of whites flowing in the streets of America, adding:
“This has to stop, and if you want to see why it has to stop, you look at South Africa. Over — between three and four thousand white South Africans have been killed in the most horrific ways, brutalized, raped, tortured, drug behind cars, had drills taken to them. Some really horrific things.”
It’s beginning to sound as if the NRA wants to go the way of another hate group, the KKK, and foment hatred against anyone who isn’t white. Much like the Klan, the NRA uses fear, lies, and terrorism in order to bolster their ranks and fill their pockets. They are the real threat to peace and security in this country.
