‘America Is Winning’: Trump Drops 2020 Campaign Ad After Worst First 100 Days In U.S. History

On Saturday, April 29, 2017, President Donald Trump earned the dubious distinction of becoming the worst first 100 days any president in America’s 250-year history. But in Trumpland, it’s apparently time to start campaigning for 2020.

On day 102, Trump released an ad paid for by Donald J. Trump for President Inc.

In the 30-second 2020 ad, the deep disembodied voice of an oddly excited white guy (who may or may not be on drugs) touts Trump’s record of “success.”

“America has rarely seen such success,” the narrator said. “A respected Supreme Court Justice: Confirmed. Companies investing in American jobs again. America becoming more energy independent.”

They also didn’t miss an opportunity to take a shot at the “fake news” media who’s had the audacity to question Trump’s “alternate facts.”

“You wouldn’t know it from watching the news,” the narrator said. “America is winning. And President Trump is making America great again.”

While this ad is hilarious on its face, it would be a fatal mistake for progressives to dismiss it.

Trump has become a master at twisting and distorting reality to fit his narrative, and this is bound to be the first of many ads campaigns designed to “gaslight” American voters into re-electing this orange cancer back into the White House.

Progressives can not afford to trust our fellow American’s ability to discern Trump’s absurd propaganda. We must remain vigilant and fight county by county for more local government positions while bringing solutions (not Trump bashing) to places that we failed to reach with our message in 2016.

Also for those who question whether or not Trump deserves the title of having the worst first 100 days in U.S. History, here are a few articles that make some very compelling arguments.

Defeating Trump in 2020 isn’t just about keeping a dangerous idiot out of office, it’s also about winning back the soul of America.
