California lawmaker Ted Lieu (D) ripped U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions a new one via a scathing tweet labeling Sessions as a “racist and a liar.”
Lieu’s remarks were in response to a comment made by Sessions’ where he defended Trump’s Muslim ban by belittling Hawaii’s legitimacy.
Earlier this week, Trump’s personal toilet troll said that he was “amazed” that a judge “sitting on an island in the Pacific” could knock down President Donald Trump’s Muslim ban.
On Sunday, Sessions’ tried to shrug off his remarks on ABC‘s “This Week,” saying “Nobody has a sense of humor anymore.”
But lieu wasn’t laughing when he tweeted:
Dear "Attorney General" Sessions: You are a racist and a liar. Actually, just joking. Oh wait, your record shows you are a racist & a liar. https://t.co/efSMggbe9Y

For those who don’t know by now, Sessions had a federal judgeship blocked by both Republicans and Democrats in 1986, because of his history of racism as an Alabama U.S. Attorney.
Looks like some things never change.
