While our current president is unqualified in so many ways, a recent lie took it to another level. Ladies and gentleman, prepare for World War III.
The Best Ships
Back on April 11, President Donald Trump instilled a tremendous amount of fear into people everywhere. He claimed that we were sending in an arsenal to go after North Korea.
As American journalist Dan Rather points out, that’s completely false.
In a scathing Facebook post, Rather said:
“For over a week, the American people and the world were led to believe that the United States was sending an aircraft carrier strike force to the waters off of North Korea, in an escalating tension over the standoff wth that troublesome nation over its nuclear and missile ambitions.”
Before people begin to defend our deranged Commander in Chief, here are his exact words about a fleet of our ships being seen near North Korea:
“We are sending an armada, very powerful. we have submarines, very powerful, far more powerful than the aircraft carrier.”
That’s not how you tell people our troops are heading over to the Indian Ocean, where they will take part in activities with the Australian Navy. Especially when they were headed 3,500 miles in the opposite direction of North Korea.

As Rather points out, America and the world were on the edge of their seats. He went on to say:
“How and why can this happen? there are no good explanations. incompetence, deceit, a lack of communication? this is how wars can get started by accident.”
Of course, it should come as no surprise that Trump doesn’t even know what our fucking navy is doing. This is the same guy who had chocolate cake that made him forget which country he bombed.

Not only is Trump more concerned with dessert than what country he’s bombing, he’s also not too good with history.
America deserves a leader who understands geography, especially when that leader appears trigger-happy. After a meeting with the leader of China, President Xi Jinping, Trump was eager to spread some newfound knowledge.
“And you know, you’re talking about thousands of years…and many wars. And Korea actually used to be a part of China. And after listening to f10 minutes I realized that…it’s not so easy.”
No, Mr. President. Korea has never, ever been a part of China. This type of ignorance is troublesome for a man whose only agenda seems to be starting a war.
As one student, Nam Sang-uk, pointed out:
“If he cared about either China or korea, before he said things like this, he would do a fact check.”
A trigger-happy white supremacist with a limited education shouldn’t have access to the nuclear codes, but he does.
