Chief counselor and resident alt-right (i.e. Nazi) adviser Steve Bannon (aka 21st century Joseph Goebbels) is sick and tired of the media ganging up on his fragile boss, Donnie Trump.
In an interview with the New York Times, Bannon angrily declared the media to be the “opposition party,” adding:
“The media should be embarrassed and humiliated and keep its mouth shut and just listen for awhile.”
Then Bannon got even more worked up, no doubt fueled by high doses of caffeine mixed with angel dust, and told the Times:
“I want you to quote this. The media here is the opposition party. They don’t understand this country. They still do not understand why Donald Trump is the president of the United States.”
Sure we do, Steve. The reason why Trump won the election is because he had the assistance of Vladimir Putin and then entire Russian intelligence apparatus, and because he also had a helping hand from FBI Director James Comey.
Bannon was far from finished, continuing his rant by noting:
“The elite media got it dead wrong, 100 percent dead wrong That’s why you have no power. You were humiliated.”
Did we, Stevie? Then perhaps you can explain why Trump has the lowest approval ratings of any American head of state in history. Ratings that are going lower by the day. When he gets to 20 percent approval and 80 percent disapproval, who will be humiliated then?
Methinks Brother Bannon is under the impression that he cannot be knocked off his lofty perch. Isn’t that what Humpty Dumpty thought, too?
