The Sunday Herald of Scotland has seen a recent listing in its newspaper go viral because it listed the inauguration of Donald Trump–scheduled for January 20–under the subheading, “The Twilight Zone.” Take a look:
additionally, The Herald television guide describes the inauguration of Don the Con as alternate history, comparing it to “What If The Nazis Had Won The Second World War.”
But that’s only the beginning of this incredibly awesome slap in Trump’s fat face. The same listing also has this:
“This huge virtual reality project, which will unfold on TV, in the press, and on Twitter over the next four years sets out to build on an alternative present. The story begins in a nightmarish version of 2017 in which huge sections of the US electorate have somehow been duped into voting to make Donald Trump president.
It sounds far-fetched, and it is, but as it goes on it becomes more and more chillingly plausible.
“It’s a flawed piece, but a disturbing glimpse of the horrors we could stumble into, if we’re not careful.”
Well played, our Scottish friends! You can anticipate a sudden influx of American emigres sometime after the 20th of January. And we promise not to talk about our asshat head of state if you don’t bring it up. Deal?
