During his presidential campaign, the now President Donald Trump promised to ban Muslims from entering the country. Welp, guys, he’s done it in his first week. He has split up his family between Washington D.C. and New York, so I guess he’s just fine splitting up families separated by oceans.
He signed an executive order on Friday banning refugees for the next 120 days. He has specifically targeted seven Middle-Eastern countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. This even applies to green card holders who are living in this country LEGALLY. Now, they can’t get back in. There are many people stranded at airports across the country.
What does our Idiot-in-Chief think about this? He’s loving it! He said:
“It’s working out very nicely. You see it at the airports. You see it all over. It’s working out very nicely and we’re going to have a very, very strict ban, and we’re going to have extreme vetting, which we should have had in this country for many years.”
There are many people who already had visas, but now they can’t get into the country. This is just insane. There are infants, old people, and so many stuck at airports who can’t get to their families.
Leaders of other nations are criticizing it and offering their support to refugees who need a place to go. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted that his country is open to accepting refugees.
Luckily, the judicial branch is grabbing back at Der Gropenfuhrer. Four district judges are challenging this cruel policy.
