An Endicott, NY firefighter, stands accused of setting his house on fire, back in August, while his wife and to teenage children slept
Jason Stokes, 41, “allegedly” set gasoline traps around the home.
Police say he also wrote a message on the side of his house which read, “Lie with pigs, fry like bacon.”
WBNG reported that Stokes flew a “Blue Lives Matter” flag out front.
“Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell confirmed the statement was written and believes Stokes wrote the message to help cover up his crime.”
“That statement to me is absolutely despicable,” he said. “It fuels a false narrative when it comes to the work that police officers do. “
Travis Gettys reports that the message written on the side of Stokes home was making reference to a chant overheard during a demonstration at the Minnesota State Fair back in August 2015, when several protesters chanted, “pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon.”
Here’s a news report on the incident.
And here’s the police press conference with more details.
The 2015 incident was widely reported by conservative media, prompting pro-police websites to blame the fire on “terrorists” associated with Black Lives Matter.
Expect white supremacist neocon conspiracy nutjob and failed abortion Alex Jones to joyfully label this as a “false flag” operation set up by the Obama administration to make Blue Lives Matter look bad.
After all, that’s the only explanation that could possibly make any sense right?
