National Police Union Asking Trump To Make Racism A Mandated Policy

The National Fraternal Order of Police wants one small thing from incoming President Trump: A return to bad old days of rampant racial profiling. Yeah, because it worked so damn great the first time.

The police union issued a statement in which it flat-out calls for Trump to:

“Reverse or amend the broad, Bush-era ban on racial profiling by all or some Federal agencies.”

Based on remarks Trump made during the campaign, the President-elect may well be agreeable to allowing lots of racial profiling. Seeking to polish the knobs of cops across the country, Trump said he would be the “law and order” president, and also had this raw meat for the police:

“Our local police — they know who a lot of these people are. They are afraid to do anything about it because they don’t want to be accused of profiling.”

One thing I wonder about: Why didn’t the Fraternal Order of Police say that men who brag they like to grab women “by the pussy” should be charged with sexual assault and beaten in public? Also, why does the police union feel it’s OK for a man to lust after his own daughter and call her a “hot piece of ass?”

There’s hypocrisy, and then there’s the way some who pretend to be all about enforcing the law conveniently overlook the many uncharged crimes of a man who has enough money to buy his way out of trouble. And no matter how you slice it, it goes by the same name: Disgusting.
